Swag Tension Pole Accessory

Purchased the swag tent because would fit in floor of my boat. Pole is very convenient as I can set up without needing to tie off both ends.

I’ve been using the Kodiak Canvas swag for a couple years now. I decided to add the tension pole this season. As if setup wasn’t already easy enough, it makes it that much easier. No more guy lines required. You may still want to guy out the ends to add a little airflow, but not required. Love it.

In my opinion, this should just be a standard part of the swag tent that ships with it. Unlike a more traditional tent, the swag tent needs to the head and foot poles to be tensioned outwards, which is only possible with what's included with the kit if you're staking guy lines into the ground. I use my swag on a cot so this provides the required tension to keep the tent upright. It's a very sturdy pole that makes it easy to get the tension just right and it locks your desired length really well (better than a broom pole or a pool net pole do). Highly recommended for every swag owner, but more than that, Kodiak, please consider including this with the tent itself.

I ordered three poles, two worked as expected. One was jammed and could not be used.
