Memorial Day weekend 2024. The family and I set out on the years first big camping trip at our lake lot. Forecasted for rain with side by side in tow, we set out excited to have fun and get muddy. Sunday morning however we were awakened by thunder that could have woke the dead. Knowing it was going to rain the night before, I had put all 6 of us (2- 17 yr twin, 1 - 15 yr, and a 7 yr, then me and my wife) in our Kodiak Canvas Cabin Lodge Tent. When stepping out to see how bad the rain was Sunday morning, I would have never believed my eyes. This tent was holding back about 8 to 10 inches of water. This went on for about the next two hours, my wife had to hold the zipper up on the door because the water was so high as I fought to try to divert the water outside. But everything in the tent including everything I love, stayed safe and dry. These tents are amazing and I will never buy anything besides a Kodiak Canvas tent!!! I CAN'T WAIT TO GET THE AWNING FOR MY CABIN LODGE TENT.
